Typically, the parent with primary custody of a child is awarded child support. In most cases, Family Courts are required to apply the Pennsylvania Child Support Guidelines. These guidelines take into account, parental income (or earning potential), the number of children, the percentage of time each parent has custody, as well as numerous other factors depending on the unique circumstances of each family. Couples are required to disclose all income and expenses. We understand that in some cases, there are concerns that a spouse is concealing income. We will evaluate business documents, bank statements, and other financial records to determine if income is concealed. In most cases, our office can address issues of income concealment, but in a few very complex cases, we will recommend a forensic financial analyst to assist. Some of the support issue we can help you with include:
- Child Support Modification
- Obtaining initial Child Support Order
- High-Income Support (net monthly combined income of $30,000+) issues
- Support in cases where one party is on unemployment, SSDI or SSI
- Multiple Family Support Issues
- Child Support Termination
- Child Support Enforcement and Collection
